Though at the beginning of Dhaka workshop 4 teams were formed for performing particular duty to achieve the ultimate goal of the workshop, now teams do seem not that enthusiastic as they were at the beginning! May be it’s for the pressure of everyone’s continuing design studio.
But anyhow we are targeted to reach the goal of this workshop. Ultimately the output will be an electronic publication of all the historical and architectural information gathered regarding the history of Dhaka in a pdf e-book, another thing is… at the end of the workshop we are going to develop an interactive software… something like google earth! The software will start with a detail map of Dhaka city (contemporary), each and every historical and important buildings and sites will be located in it. On-mouse-over detail information about the buildings will be popped up, on-click more detail info and images will come up. There will also be a timeline of chronological maps of Dhaka city in the software. Now our prime job is to collect information as much as possible regarding history of Dhaka.

Any one can join in any group of the workshop anytime. Just join in work, collect and compile information and help out the teams. Call to N.R. Khan (Jumu sir) for any query at +88001711520037.

Today it will be the third meeting of Dhaka workshop. Everyone is invited to attend the session.
