Development story of muzharulislam.com
Last week was the week of Discourse!
Most of the Discourse members worked heart and soul for the development of http://www.muzharulislam.com and the physical archive of Muzharul Islam.

Muzharulislam.com is the official website of the Muzharul Islam Archive, which is physically hosted by the University of Asia Pacific and sponsored by Tanya Karim NR Khan & Associates.
These are merely official talks! Actually development of muzharulislam.com is really a big story to tell. The contribution from lots of students from different architecture schools (UAP, BUET and BRACK), contribution from respected senior architects were overwhelming. Someone did the basic design, few dedicated students worked day and night to compile the real size scanning of the drawings by Muzharul Islam, few people were busy with writing the texts. It was something like a huge workshop where people from different institutions and of different age groups worked together just to keep a single motto in mind “we are working for Muzharul Islam”.
And the unbelievable organizational ability of NR Khan made our efforts coming to a real achievement.
One incident may express the level of our dedication and enthusiasm: Arch. Naushad Ehsanul Haque was assigned to write the English translation of the interview of Muzharul Islam taken by Shamsul Wares. He tried to send us the translation by email. But just before the day of inauguration of muzharulislam.com and the archive (24.12.2005) he was looking for a cyber café from where he could send us the email. But he didn’t get any, when it was 10 at the very night. I told him, ok sir, leave this for tomorrow morning, early in the morning I’ll take that from you and upload it before the inauguration program starts. That night we all were working in Tanya Karim NR Khan’s office ( the Discourse Secretariat ). Naushad Ehsanul Haque and Farhana Sharmin Emu came to the office at around 2 am on the night, to deliver us the work! Few months ago they had their first baby. They left their baby at home on the night and came to give us the writing!
On the 25th muzharulislam.com and the Muzharul Islam Archive was inaugurated by Arch. Muzharul Islam himself at 11am at the Archive premises in the department of Architecture of UAP.

” that was the GROSS example to express someone’s contribution in a noble work!! try to avoid these for the betterment of the discourse
